Ultimate Vauxhall 1600 8V on Single Plenum, Built new by Russ Tyler new in OCT 20103 from all new parts and only completed 150Miles since build.

Built to Full Group A Specification

Head and Induction
1.6 GSI Rally Head fully worked and modified to Group A+ standard. REC Oversize GRP A+1 Valves fitted to freshly cut valve seats with REC Double Valve Springs and Titanium Caps. ENEM Y26 Cam. Solid Lifters. Head Modified for better cooling and Oil Flow. Engine is running on 1.6 GSI Single Plenum Inlet manifold, manifold and throttle body fully worked with matched ports with High Flow Filter. SYTEC Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator.
Latest Can-bus MBE 9A4 ECU with full professional Can-bus loom and sensors. This ECU can run Flat Shift, Launch, Traction Control and Data Logging features. Top Bit of kit!

Bottom End
Block Bored and Decked to match New Original Set of Group A Cosworth Pistons, Arrow steel rods, Fresh Dowelled, Lightened and Balanced Crank and assembled with Competition Race Bearings and High Quality Gaskets. Dowelled Flywheel, fully lightened and matched to bottom end to exacting tolerances, Baffled Sump.

Exhaust
Original EX-Works Group A Cast Manifold with Stainless Downpipe with Lamda Sensor. Better Torque and Power than comparable high spec four branch manifold.
Can be supplied with an Alcon Aluminium Heavy Duty Clutch Cover and Plate. 150miles from new. Clutch is Big Money on its own.

Engine Rolling Road at Saxon Motorsport 158BHP, 127 lbft torque at 7250. Will rev further but shift light set at optimum change point.

Engine has been running on Valvoline Racing 20/50 Oil, Changed after every event regardless of Stage Mileage.

This engine is as good as it gets utilizing a Single Plenum Inlet Manifold. Professionally built and set up regardless of cost with many New, Original Group A+ Parts.

Ideal Ultimate Historic GRP A 1600, Road Rally or Motorsport Ireland Class 10 Engine.
